I am a family man with a beautiful wife and a daughter. I understand how difficult it can be juggles family life, work-life, and parent-life all the while putting health and fitness on your priority list. I love what I do, and I strive to the best at what I do; not only for me, but for my family.

My Story
I got into Personal Training many years ago. It all started from being unhappy with my self-image, self-worth, and the lingering thought that, at this moment, I should be in the best shape of my life. I grew up playing basketball and sustained severe injuries to my rotator cuff, dislocating it 16 times and requiring surgery. After those injuries, I stopped exercising and playing sports and turned to long hours at the office working as an Assistant General Manager of an apartment complex. I vividly remember looking at myself in the mirror after I got out of the shower one day and thinking, "I hate the way I look and feel... I'm going to do something about this!" That day I spent hours searching for exercise programs and videos to help get me started. I didn't know much then, but I knew I was going to commit to something, no matter how long it took. I went on an intense transformation program I found online and, throughout the process, I fell in love with exercise science and how the body works. After I completed the 12-week transformation program, I had lost around 20 lbs and 10% body-fat. I was feeling GREAT! However, I was thirsty for more... and I knew I couldn't stop there. In 2014, I purchased a Certified Personal Training book to prepare me for becoming a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). During my studies of becoming a CPT, I was in a terrible motorcycle accident and had to go through Physical Therapy for 2 years before I regained reasonable function. What I learned from my recovery changed my outlook on life and the way I approached Physical Fitness. First, movement is a privilege. I believe we should take advantage of the fact we are able to move, whether that be through lifting weights, walking, running, climbing, or cycling... get moving. Second, I became hyper aware of body mechanics and movement. I realized our body is made to be in perfect sync and if any chains are broken within our kinetic chain, we feel pain and irritation. Last, I learned true empathy. Because of all the injuries I have sustained, I can relate, adapt, and work with anyone to overcome obstacles the average trainer may not understand. I can help you feel better, move better, and lift heavier.
